Who We Are & What We Do
We are a team of community members, public health nurses, and clinicians focused on supporting the resilience of transgender women. Our collaboration began in 2018 and was centered in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. We have since expanded our home base to include Atlanta, GA, and work with transgender women across the United States. Our early work focused on identifying the tools transgender women and communities use to survive and thrive in the face of discrimination and violence. Using that knowledge, we then worked with community members to develop Together We Thrive – a program to support the strength and resilience of transgender women and their communities.
